A bobber is a motorcycle which is quite fashionable at the moment. It fits very well to the current hipster and vintage style. Bobbers are custom bikes, based on older Harley, Triumph or BMW bikes, although many older touring bikes can be used. Main characteristics which separate bobbers from other bikes are: - vintage style: The bikes look as if they are at least 50 years old - very basic and minimalistic: Just one seat, often no suspension on the rear wheel, small or missing fenders, no fairing, no luggage rack, basic instrumentation, basic lights. Virtually every part which can be left away, is left away. - a very thick front wheel. Most bikes have a front wheel which is slimmer and often larger than the rear wheel. A bobber has a fat front tire, sometimes it has the same size as the rear wheel.
